Steb Bags
There are new restrictions for transporting LAG’s (liquids, Aerosols, and Gels), which are purchased by passengers from duty-free shops after they must have passed through security or the on the aircraft before they are placed in a Security Tamper Evident Bag (or simply steb bags) for safe keeping.
Steb bags are manufactured by several companies and they make sure they comply with the specifications of a particular tamper evident security bag which was specially designed laid out by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
There are several sizes of steb bags:
Small – 230 x 430 mm (50 micron coextruded polyethylene)
Medium – 300 x 625 mm (which includes handle) (70 microns coextruded polyethylene)
Large – 470 x 625 mm (also includes handle) (100 microns coextruded polyethylene)
